About Our Organization
Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH) is the second-largest County-owned health and hospital system in California and is committed to improving the health of the 1.9 million people of Santa Clara County. SCVH is comprised of three hospitals: Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC - a 731-bed central hospital), O’Connor Hospital (OCH - 358 licensed beds), and Saint Louise Regional Hospital (SLRH – 93 licensed beds). Providers in our health system also have the opportunity to use our integrated electronic health record (Epic), which brings together systemwide patient information. About the Position
This position requires clinical responsibilities in office consultations and MIGS expertise in advanced laparoscopy, with access to robotic surgery for treatment of various benign gynecologic disorders including chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis. This individual will be on-call in one week block for complex OBGYN surgical backup shared in rotation with on-call group all in one week block for complex OBGYN surgical backup shared in rotation with on-call group or other Gyn calls as assigned. Successful applicants will demonstrate commitment to be part of the chronic pelvic pain management team. Individuals will have opportunities to engage in resident surgical education including simulation, research and quality improvement appropriate to professional training and career goals.
This position requires completion of MIGS Fellowship and MIGS practice designation certified or eligible. Excellent surgical skills and demonstrated excellence in clinical care and strong commitment to teaching are sought in this position.
