Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, a part of the Pacific Northwest Division of CommonSpirit, is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our esteemed team in Gig Harbor, WA.
Position Overview
We are a well-established and busy physician and midwife women's health group located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Our group consists of 1 Gyn Surgeon and 1 GYN ARNP and 2 GYN PA’s. We provide evidenced-based women's healthcare services to Gig Harbor and surrounding communities. The group is closely connected with a well-established large OB/GYN practice. This is a growth position due to the high volume of patients and large wait time. The new physician should be busy from day 1.
The new physician will be based at St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor and will join one other MIGS provider. St. Anthony Hospital is a 112 bed, Level III Trauma Center located in Gig Harbor, WA and was opened locally in 2009. There is 24/7 Anesthesia coverage. St. Anthony has two DaVinci robots available with block time as well as Acessa. Call responsibilities include your own practice call which is approximately 1:4 rotation. There is an occasional hospital call which is 3-5 times per month which includes St. Clare Hospital.
Candidates must be hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated to providing superior patient care. Our group serves in one of the most rapidly growing areas in the country. Living in the Puget Sound Region provides for active city life, but still offers plenty of outdoor adventures. You can choose between city living and the suburbs.
