Position: Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgeon/Pelvic Pain Specialist

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

Los Angeles General Medical Center, the largest Department of Health Services hospital system in the greater Los Angeles Area and affiliate of the University of Southern California/Keck School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Physician Specialist in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. You will be joining a dynamic team of academic physicians whose mission it is to provide world-class care and education for all in our community. You will be caring for a very diverse patient population with complex and advanced benign gynecologic pathology in an under-resourced setting. You will be working with Obstetrics and Gynecology residents and medical students both in the clinic and the operating room. 

Job description includes but is not limited to: Gyn and Pelvic Pain clinic, average of 1.5 days OR/week, Gyn inpatient service, Gynecology back-up call, and teaching residents and medical students.

Academic appointment to the University of Southern California/Keck School of Medicine is available to qualified candidates.

Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Fellowship-trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery
- Highly proficient in laparoscopic, robotic, and hysteroscopic surgery techniques
- Trained in the management of complex benign gynecologic disorders including pelvic pain 
- Dedicated to teaching and providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a team-based environment
