The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health at Maimonides Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our expanding academic division in Brooklyn, NY.

This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high-volume, innovation-driven program that includes an AAGL-accredited MIGS Fellowship. As an Associate Program Director, you will have a central role in teaching and mentoring MIGS fellows, residents, and medical students in a dynamic clinical and academic setting.

 

Position Highlights:

  •     Integral role in an AAGL-accredited MIGS fellowship program
  •     High-volume surgical practice in advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgery
  •     Fully equipped office hysteroscopy suite for in-office diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  •     Collaborative care model including GYN Oncology, Urogynecology, Family Planning, and MFM
  •     Opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement, and academic advancement

Ideal Candidate:

  •     Fellowship-trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery
  •     Clinically skilled in both straight-sticks and robotic surgery
  •     Skilled in both medical and surgical management of endometriosis , pelvic pain and fibroids
  •     Passionate about advancing gynecologic surgical care and education
  •     Interest in clinical research and surgical innovation
  •     Committed to patient-centered, evidence-based medicine
