We are seeking to hire a new full-time, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship/Complex Benign Gynecology trained attending, at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. As a member of the University Medical Group, the faculty practice plan of the School of Medicine, responsibilities will primarily involve building a practice to provide clinical care with a focus in MIGS and Complex Benign Gynecology. He/She will be core faculty in the CBG fellowship program at UConn Health and will be expected to meet the expectations of that role. There is an opportunity for clinical and basic science research depending on the applicant’s background and interest. There is also the opportunity for administrative roles both in the fellowship as well as in the division.
Additional duties involve teaching and precepting residents, fellows, and medical students, providing CME lectures to community-based physicians and serving on hospital or medical school committees assigned by the department Chair. Call will be on rotation with other MIGS/CBG faculty members and will include both weekday and weekend call. Responsibilities may change as the needs and mission of the medical school, hospital, and department change.
