Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Novant Health Minimally Invasive GYN Surgery - Southpark is actively seeking a full-time, highly motivated, BC/BE minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon to join their well-established practice in Charlotte, North Carolina focused on complex benign disease (fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, AUB). The practice has a team of 3 physicians, 2 mid-levels and an excellent support staff.

What You’ll Do

• Perform advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures (e.g., hysterectomy, myomectomy, excision of endometriosis, lysis of adhesions, adnexal surgery)
• Evidence-based medical management

• GYN-only: no OB call/deliveries; focused surgical practice (not pelvic pain focused)
• Mentorship & training: 3 surgeons currently in the practice to provide mentorship and guidance as needed (over 50 years of combined experience and >2000 robotic cases!)
• OR access: consistent block time; experienced peri-op team. DaVinci robotic system including DV5
• Robust multidisciplinary team support, including colorectal surgery, urology, pain management, pelvic floor physical therapy and interventional radiology.

Schedule & Call

• Typical mix: 2–3 OR days / 2 clinic days (flexible based on growth)
• No OB call; Gyn call 1:6 covering our surgical patients

Qualifications:

• Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Comfort with advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgery (da Vinci)
• Fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery/Complex Benign Gynecology
• The candidate is expected to manage a diverse patient population and provide the full spectrum of benign gynecologic surgical care
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of North Carolina
