Position Overview

Full-time academic MIGS gynecologist (Assistant or Associate Professor)

Focus on complex benign gynecology and pelvic pain

No obstetric responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient gynecologic care

Develop a practice in complex benign gynecology

Perform advanced minimally invasive surgery, including endometriosis management with a multi-disciplinary team

Provide office-based procedures and outpatient care

Participate in a multi-disciplinary chronic pelvic pain program

Offer intraoperative consultation and OR support to OB/GYN colleagues

Share gynecology home call responsibilities

 

Education & Scholarship

Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in clinic and OR

Participate in didactics, simulation, and learner evaluation

Engage in scholarly activity (clinical research, publications, presentations, video production, etc.)

Administrative & Leadership Opportunities

Participate in departmental and division activities

Serve on committees and support program initiatives

Optional role as Assistant Program Director for the Legacy MIGS/CBG Fellowship (AAGL)

 

Required Qualifications

MD; Oregon licensure (or eligibility)

ACGME OB/GYN residency + MIGS/Complex Benign Gynecology fellowship

Board-certified/eligible in OB/GYN

Strong surgical skills and commitment to education and clinical excellence

4+ years’ post-fellowship experience preferred (not required)
