OBGYN Clinical AST/ASO/Full Professor – Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) Faculty

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine is recruiting a full-time, academic Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) faculty member to join our thriving and nationally recognized Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Academic track (tenure or non-tenure) and rank (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) will be based on qualifications.

The MIGS faculty member will contribute to the division’s missions of complex gynecologic surgery, patient care, education, research, and clinical innovation.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing advanced laparoscopic, robotic, hysteroscopic, and office-based MIGS care
• Managing complex endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, infertility-associated pathology, and surgical complications
• Teaching and supervision of residents and medical students, with future involvement in fellowship teaching
• Participating in departmental and hospital committees, quality initiatives, and multidisciplinary conferences
• Contributing to scholarly work, clinical trials, AI-driven analytics, surgical outcomes research, and innovation projects
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to expand programs in pelvic pain, deep endometriosis, uterine fibroids, surgical outcomes, and digital health

About the Division of MIGS

UF’s MIGS Division is a high-volume, complex surgical referral center drawing patients from across Florida and nationwide. The Division is designated as a:

• Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (COEMIG)
• Center of Excellence in Complex Endometriosis Care (COECEC)

We perform a large volume of advanced laparoscopic, robotic, hysteroscopic, and office-based procedures, supported by dynamic multidisciplinary teams, including pelvic pain specialists, pelvic floor PT, GI, colorectal surgery, urology, radiology, and a robust, integrated GYN ultrasound program. Faculty are nationally and internationally recognized for surgical innovation, endometriosis care, AI-driven clinical research, and leadership in MIGS education.

The Division is actively developing a MIGS Fellowship Program, creating an outstanding opportunity for academic growth, teaching, mentorship, and shaping the next generation of complex gynecologic surgeons.
